Torn-apart landscape The Rift is an area slowly being torn apart by the abyss. It features large areas filled with floating debris, whirlpools, and corruption spreading through the walls.

You'll only ever get one attempt to clear a temple, if you fail then you'll be moved on to a new procedurally-generated tunnel. Each of these unique temples shows up for a variety of players who will all try to complete the map. With your trusty whip in hand you'll aim to reach further and further into the temple by picking up keys, and unlocking new boons from the Olmec deity that is trapped in the Phantom Abyss Gameplay temple with you.

Soul Armor's best use is as a panic button; if you find yourself overwhelmed with Guardians or traps, or are falling into a bottomless pit, activate your armor and get yourself to safety ASAP, because your invulnerability will not last very long. Your charges are limited, so don't just waste it on barreling through simple traps.

Be warned, you only get one attempt at each temple and failure or settling for a lesser relic means you will never see that temple again...The cleverest players will use the phantom runs of failed attempts from other players to their advantage and avoid the missteps and mistakes that led to their doom.

Heal but better, as it also increases your health cap by one heart. If you have to choose between this and Heal, always choose the Heart Container.

There are also extra levels that you can access by collecting keys from chests, which are scattered throughout each map.

If you’re a fan of retro platformers, then this action-adventure game may still be worth checking out, but, unless you have a burning desire to play, it’s hard to fully recommend
